First lie in in ages! Feeling truly relaxed and at home. No police, or disturbed sleep, escape to my wonderful parents and the security, safety, peace and quiet it's provided me. A little taste of the rest we long for the fulfilment of in God...

A lovely walk through picturesque Hellingly and cuckoo trail with Clive, Shireen, Yuri, Matt and Dad. A moving moment laying a christmas wreath at Grandmas grave, knowing she is with the Lord, which is far better!

The boxing day family 'buffet' with Uncle, Auntie and cousins and Della being a huge hit and such fun! Playing UNO, our rules with the first time of introducing 'slamming sixes'! Serena having made me a batch of cookies! Laughing at that 'special' Lisa photo til we cried!

Finishing work for the holidays! Packing up the car and having a clear drive to mum and dad's, the family all there, reunited!

Matt realising he's forgotton the bag of presents he had for me and stubbornly getting back in the car driving back the 2 hour journey to North London, then the 2 hour journey back to Hailsham again! Crazy love!

Gods protection again in a scary situation

To distract from the events fo the afternoon, a long awaited trip to a Christmassy carol concert at the Royal Albert Hall with Brenda! The 'tour' in Jazzy!

Looking round at over 5 thousand people singing and hearing Gospel truths in every single song the whole night and wondering what they make of it? Do they understand? Or do they just block it all our, when it says Jesus is the Lord and king, He is God come to earth, he's come to save his people from their sins, to reconcile them to God, and we must give him our heart!

Putting up the Christmas tree - ahhhh listening to Christmas music and feeling christmasssy!

Wonderful Allie arrives from the USofA!!! Oh how brilliant to spend hours catching up on the last 6 months, it's like we were never apart! Feels so like normal to have her in the house! Allie taking us out to dinner...mmmmm! The continued transformation in her life, from knowing and trusting and loving God, a year old in her faith!

God has given me fabulous Allie's as friends, not sure why they all seem to be called Allie, or Ally or Ali though! But they are such dear ones!

Travelling down to Sussex to see the family

Finding mum and dad's church not as dire as had expected, good visiting speaker who exalted Christ. The way the church look after one another practically.

The train back being all mucked up so having to stay another night, only to find brilliant sunday night TV, deal or no deal, and our 2 fave films - school of rock and Zoolander! Yes! Also means able to have another shower before return to broken dangerous shower of death at home!

The cool but sad noise and news of the firework factory fire down the road!
