The funnest sunday in a long while, having the youthleaders thank you bbq and loadsa fun in the sun with the tramoline! Chilling with lovely church family!

Abimbola and Danni being such amazing help for the whole afternoon and evening with doing last minute prep with me for holiday club. Alix coming and helping too and it being fun and industrious decorating pirate stylee!

The day of the wedding! Excitement and fun! Seeing Yuri and other Hull lovelies. Abi singing my fave song ever in the register bit - the psalm song! Her doing so so well despite nerves. Macey looking beautiful, family tensions not spoiling her special day, Susie looking after us well.
The hotel doing a great job for the reception, being on the top table with Macey and Lukey! Stuffing amazing bbq food and chips into us followed by sticky toffee pudding - thats a wedding reception meal! Dancing the night away to disco music!

Arriving in York, the hotel being nice and near the town centre, i love York so much - it's just full of history and beauty! Exploring again after 2 years or so. Finding bargains in the surf shops and Christian book shop. Macey not being too busy the day before her wedding to come and hang out with us for coffee! Meeting Megan and her being an absolute cutie.

The fun rehearsal and Abi, Gara and Kath and Nathan coming over for that and the meal at ASK.

2 Random things that made me laugh today...

Get on the tube, sit down, not really noticing the man who comes and stands next to my seat, UNTIL he whips out an accodion and starts loudly playing in my ear! He then sends a small boy to poke a paper cup in all the passengers faces to collect money. Not sure he wouldv'e got alot going by the sounds coming out of the accordion!

At Wagamamas with Christina, 2 middle aged business men come and sit next to us, one has a soup based dish and halfway through dips his head to take a slurp and his glasses fall off and into the bowl of soupy noodles! Hard not to laugh as he is right next to us!

THE most amazing wow conversation after a year and a half of waiting and praying with mum of one of the youth group boys about God and her wanting to check him out!!! AMAZING!

A brilliant day on the south bank, walking from London Bridge, doing Borough Market, then Tate Modern (AKA Excuse for crap in the name of art), getting a photo with Darth Vader, seeing Buck Palace, Seeing National Treasure 2 being filmed, lunching at Wagamamas by the Thames, walking all the way back to Baker street.

Everyone gathering for breakfast at CHILL. Going back to Maceys and finally meeting 'dad', Janette and Vick! Snuggling and chatting everything with my Abi. Maceys house of gorge.
Going to Planet coffee and snuggling and chatting on beanbags and cushions drinking semi-hot overpriced beverages! Getting a refund for said beverage never arriving and a free brownie!
Enjoying the drive home with 2 lovely friends. Knowing its only a few days til Abi and i are together again. Ordering our fave pizza and eating such yum!

The most brilliantest, blissfully happy, wonderful day witnessing our Gara and Kath get wed, being with people we love and adore so much we could burst, Nathans excellent sermon, My gorge girlies, an uplifting and emotional service, good weather, fun photos, holding Matthew Butterys hand for a looooooonnng time, him smiling and goo gooing at me, going to the Ramada and enjoying good food and a great fun table, Gara's brothers speech, gara's short testimony and honesty about God and how he's been transformed by Him in His speech, laughing til we cried at the camp Mr Fawlty man... 'apprereation' and his hammer of doom, sneaking up to their room to cause some mischief, the best band we're ever heard live and dancing all night with all our friends, evidences of Gods grace all over the room, love celebrated, God adored, taste of heaven!

Knowing I too struggle to see that so often. But knowing God is good and He is in charge and He can work and transform people and cares for them more than i do.
