Chuckling when remembering the kids talk at church yesterday morning, Elise managing to pull out to the front a man who rarely comes and tries to be anonymous, in a suit in his fifties? Anyway, firstly she's asking for anyone who knows anyone in Africa or who is from Africa - gets him up the front and then proceeds, in front of a packed full church to manage to call him a eunuch, make him read out loud from a scroll, straddling a bicycle, then giving him a crown and a handbag to wear and calling him a queen and finally getting another man to straddle the bike in front of Him! His face of utter confusion and bemusement... what a funny kids talk!

Brilliant lunch with Bimba and chilling out and watching the last O.C! Sob sob, sunday afternoons will never be the same!

A sermon that challenged me to delight more in the giver than the gifts... the searching question of would i want to go to heaven if God wasn't there? Asking myself what and who i am really about. Being thankful that i am doing this thankfulness year of blogdom, to make sure i don't take for granted the kindnesses of God and His grace each day!

Holidays...

Having Lee and Cathra with us, time on the heath, in the garden, in the pub, in starbucks, in GBK, real deep pick up where you left off friendship, going to the sound of music for free and it being my favourite Maria who shouldv'e won Aiefe or whatever her name is, late night drive down to Hailsham, spending time with family, realising properly how beautiful the surroundings of where i grew up are, chicken fajitas, catching up with Helena and Mark at a gorgeous pub in Meads, walking along the beach at the Bourne, watching Casino Royale, The Prestige, Black Dahlia, washing the car as a family activity, going to Alfriston, going to the bluebell walk, going round the resevoir at Arlington, Seven sisters walk, country pub drinks and food in the sun, good sleeps, mum's amazing sausage rolls, hilarity at the Grandparents, seeing Aunt, Uncle and eldest cuz, relaxing, laughing...

Last day of holiday club and 6 five year olds able to recite John 3:16 and clearly understand the cross and resurrection! Awesome! A wonderful team of co-workers, the flowers and thanks they gave and the hugs of Matthew and Tom who really didn't want holiday club to end! ahhhh!
