Today was the first day of EMA (Evangelical Ministers Assembly), and The Piper is back! Heard some great talks, sang some amazing songs so loudly, with all the male voices resounding! Saw some old faces and caught up with some lovely brothers and sisters and saw juliettes baby kicking!!...

A letter from a dear friend that is exciting in content, paper (pink and comes with little scattery stars that fall on my floor as i rip it open!

A time of honest prayer with a dear friend that reminds me how i need to have my views and fixed 'ways' changed all the time by Gods word.

My lovely Indian man in the Corner shop suddenly stocking Scampi and lemon Nik Naks and selling me four packets for a quid! I've missed you babies...

Talked to Lee and Cathra on the dog and bone last night. Isn't it amazing that we can chat like their still just round the corner when their actually in Sydney, Australia!

Today it was so good to see some of my favourite people in the world, to hear about their adventures with Christ and to see loads of young people who've been through camp for the last 5 years now eager to serve God on Task Force! Young people passionate to serve Christ, and the amazing work he's done in their lives year to year from the age of 16 to them now age 21!

And to be reminded again of how it is all of grace we are justified, it's all from God, He has revealed it to us, we didn't work it out alone, he initiated it in sacrificing his son, he saves us from the wrath we deserve himself, he then GIFTS us with rightness, His rightness! How absurd! How hard to believe! God is lavishing grace upon us, we can't do a thing but lie down and bathe in it, and get up and live in it!

Had such a relaxing evening last night, hanging with steffy. When you've priorly arranged to hang out but you're all extremely knackered, thats just the kind of evening you need!!!

In the busyness of life, feeling under pressure and too much to do in so little time, I am reminded of Gods rich grace. I am responsible to teach the bible faithfully and to put the hard yards in on that, but i know the freedom of the sovereignty of God, that His work does not DEPEND on me 'doing'! He is bigger and more about his gospel going out than i could ever dream to be! And He will use little pippa's weakling efforts to maximise his glory, i love 1 Corinthians 1:18-31!!

Ok, i'm backed up slightly due to no net access yesterday! This is the lushness of Wednesday... getting to know another sister in Christ really well and knowing God provides friends for us just when we need them!

I love Tuesdays...

I loved today because i had mussels & spag in a tomato basil sauce for luncheon!

I loved today because 425 club is such a delight to serve at...

But most of all I loved today because Matt had to travel home from Cornhill at London Bridge, walking to tube, going down to tube, travelling on tube to West Hampstead Tube, going up out of the tube, walking the 10 mins up the hill past everyone to our house.....................pushing a spinny computer chair!!!! ha ha ha!
At least he had a seat on the tube home! Actually, that wouldn't work would it, you'd be sliding about everywhere on them wheels!!!

Today Maya and Rohan got baptised... it was such a happy time to see Maya publicly professing faith in Jesus to all her family and friends. And to see my absolutely gowgous Godson be baptised!!

Going out in west hampstead for drinks with Dan and Alison, in the trendy new bar eclipse. Hearing Alison saying how perfect things are turning out for her new adventure this september, how God has answered many prayers and is clearly working in her life and the life of the church she may be working at....

Today Kate in our 121, said she had really been challenged by God to be content in her situation as a mum of 3, and to get on, be useful and serve God in the situation he has placed her...

Today in our church staff meeting I realised again the great priviledge of being a co-worker in the gospel. That God would count me worthy of being a co-worker in his great mission plan and that I can be a co-worker with such a godly, loving staff team at St Luke's!
