Today it was so good to see some of my favourite people in the world, to hear about their adventures with Christ and to see loads of young people who've been through camp for the last 5 years now eager to serve God on Task Force! Young people passionate to serve Christ, and the amazing work he's done in their lives year to year from the age of 16 to them now age 21!
And to be reminded again of how it is all of grace we are justified, it's all from God, He has revealed it to us, we didn't work it out alone, he initiated it in sacrificing his son, he saves us from the wrath we deserve himself, he then GIFTS us with rightness, His rightness! How absurd! How hard to believe! God is lavishing grace upon us, we can't do a thing but lie down and bathe in it, and get up and live in it!
...How lush!

Hey Pippa. Was great to be at the training day, and I'm really looking forward to this year's Contagious. I've started writing a blog post about the
Though actually this will be my seventh year on Contagious - I've been coming since the very first one in summer 2000 when I was 14. That's as many years as Harry is at Hogwarts, and if I understand correctly, if all goes well then having done two years on Taskforce I'll be a leader next year. So rather like Harry Potter, only with Christianity rather than magic, and becoming a Contagious leader rather than a wizard! ;-)

hmmm liking the similarities to Harry Potter! Though the power of the gospel of God outbigs magic every time!
Taskforce looks really great this year, Matt and I are very excited about it. I thin it's main aim though is to be a Christian service opportunity, rathe rthan the definite path to being on leadership automatically. If you see it as a great chance to serve our Lord and Saviour then whatever is decided afterwards, you can't be disappointed!?
