Despite the rain, Church family fun day not being a washout and people coming and having fun!
Tim Keller identifying and saying out loud some of the internal feelings and frustrations i have had about the evangelical scene here and how everyone in the 'right' circle fits a certain class model, regarding the 'right' educational background, the 'right' upbringing and even the 'right' personality and style of preaching, who you know etc that though i can infiltrate to some extent some of the time, i feel alienated and unwelcome and uncomfortable in much of the time. Pleased He encouraged the major Evangelical leaders in the UK to see that and discuss it.
Lovely Explorers - again them lapping up hearing the truth about God in the Bible. Adorable.
Having a re-run of goodbye coffee with Macey and Luke, although this time their train wasn't cancelled. Reflecting on the goodness of God in providing such amazing friends.

The fact that God has made us so intellectually able yet also so able to completely zone out as we walk somewhere on autopilot, drifting into possible nothingness, as i can't recall what i actually was thinking about as i zoned out while walking to Hampstead!
Teaching Phillippians 1:12-30 at one school CU of Pauls passion and love for Jesus Christ being such that to live is Christ to die is gain. Girl asks: " What so he was a real person?" - not sure if she meant Christ or Paul but getting to say YES! to her and showing her Christianity is real and true in time, space and history - not a cleverly invented story or myth! But half an hour really barely scratches the surface!
